How do I know which size curtain I need?
Width: This depends on the type of curtain you select, and the width of your curtain track or curtain pole. Some curtains, such as eyelet and rod pocket curtains, dont need to be much wider than the track, while curtains that are on a header tape such as pencil pleat curtains will need to be about twice as wide as your window opening to allow for gathering the curtain tape. Pinch pleat curtains are generally fixed when it comes to width, so make sure you have enough width to allow the curtains to close.

Length: When it comes to the length or drop of the curtain, you have more options, depending on how far down you want the curtain to hang, some people prefer their curtains to fall just below the window sill, while others like them to drop to, or even pool on, the floor. If you need to shorten your curtains, it is nearly always easier to do so from the top, unless you have fixed pleats or eyelets. For curtains with heading tape, removing the tape, cutting the curtain to size and refastening the tape is much easier than having to alter hems.

Do you offer blockout curtains or blinds?
At Spotlight you have a choice of uncoated fabrics, sun out or blockout fabrics and thermal fabrics available in ready-made curtains or sold by the metre. Choose the best fabric for your window according to the level of darkness and privacy you are looking for. Sheer fabrics and some uncoated fabrics will keep people from looking in but filter little light. Whereas sun out and blockout fabrics will filter out more light and help to keep your rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
